This year I was blessed to travel to Greece from July 30th until August 22nd with some of my best friends, including Cameron Barge, Leah Rotsia and Mauricio Ruiz Fernandez. We also hung out on Sifnos with Georgia Tseperi, Leah’s best friend of over 10 years. I am very grateful to have met and made new friends on the trip, including Panos, Anih and Rebecca.
I started in Athens alone where I met Panos on the subway from the airport to the city. Leah and Georgia then gave me and Cam a fantastic introduction to the Cycladic islands on Sifnos, after which Cam and I parted ways to see Milos(!!!), Santorini and Athens. After Cam left, Mauricio and I had our breaths taken away at Meteora. Rebecca and Anih thereupon joined so that we all could become licensed as Competent Crew members in the RYA curriculum with Greek Sails in the Argo-Saronic Islands (did a day trip to Hydra!). Mauricio, Anih and I then continued on to get ripped off in Mykonos and be blown away, literally, on Naxos. We ended the trip in Athens, where I saw the Akropolis for the first time in 10 years when I last visited with my wonderful family. Throughout this trip I had the pleasure of eating such great food and taking in so many beautiful places and things with these friends; some of the most beautiful things I saw were those friends.
The shots below are all taken by me unless otherwise indicated; most of the ones that include me were taken by Mauricio–thanks so much. I’m still missing an SD card and will be updating this post as I sift through the thousands of shots I have not yet had the chance to review!
